Senior Mechanical Engineer
IVEK Corporation currently has an opening for a senior mechanical engineer. This position provides technology expertise in the design and development of new and custom IVEK products. It requires work on projects from the initial requirements, through the design and development state, to the testing of prototypes, and then through to final manufacture and implementations.
Our market includes the following industries: medical, pharmaceutical and diagnostic equipment manufacturers, food processors, battery manufacturers, automotive suppliers, the electronics industry and many others.
Candidates must have BS or MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8 or more years of relevant work experience. A working knowledge of fluids engineering (hydraulic systems, fluid dynamics, pumps, and valves) is required. Design of precision mechanical systems including high accuracy motion control and fluid pump systems is highly desirable. Proficiency in CAD programs for mechanical design and SolidWorks is also required.
