ROTARY & LINEAR PISTON CYLINDER SETS

Rotary Ceramic Piston/Cylinder Sets
Making up the heart of each Micro Rotary and Split Case Pump Module is a ceramic piston/cylinder set comprised of 99.5 - 99.8% Alumina Oxide or Zirconia. Each serialized, mated piston/cylinder set is machined to an extremely tight clearance (100-200 x 10-6 inches), which allows for a sealess pump. These ceramic piston/cylinder sets are extremely hard and inert. These characteristics provide abrasion and corrosion resistance. The result is a robust, very low maintenance pump module that withstands millions of cycles without measurable wear.

Features:

  • Micro Rotary pump sizes include “3A” (27 μL max./stroke), “2A” (54 μL max./stroke), “A” (109 μL max./stroke)
  • Split Case (Macro Rotary) pump sizes include “B” (295 μL max./stroke), “C” (739 μL max./stroke), “D” (1478 μL max./stroke), “16mm” (1886 μL max./stroke)
  • Individually serialized piston/cylinder sets
  • Minimal Friction
  • Low fluid shear
  • Withstand routine autoclaving and sterilization procedures
  • Chemically inert – withstand solvents, and most acids and bases
  • Extremely hard – resist abrasion and wear
  • No seals needed due to close clearance of piston/cylinder
  • Titanium end cap press fit onto piston - eliminates adhesive contamination problems
  • Flushing gland available
  • Ceramic material/clearance certifications provided for each set

Linear Ceramic Piston/Cylinder Sets
Making up the heart of each Micro Linear and Macro Linear Pump Module is a ceramic piston/cylinder set, comprised of 99.5-99.8% Alumina Oxide or Zirconia.

Features:

  • Micro Linear pump sizes include “4A” (20 μL chamber, 0.010 μL resolution), “3A” (50 μL chamber, 0.025 μL resolution), “2A” (100 μL chamber, 0.050 μL resolution), “A” (200 μL chamber, 0.100 μL resolution)
  • Macro Linear pump sizes include “B” (400 μL chamber, 0.200 μL resolution), “C” (1000 μL chamber, 0.500 μL resolution), “D” (2000 μL chamber, 1.000 μL resolution)
  • Low fluid shear
  • Individually serialized piston/cylinder sets
  • Minimal Friction
  • Withstand routine autoclaving and sterilization procedures
  • Chemically inert – withstand solvents, and most acids and bases
  • Extremely hard – resist abrasion and wear
  • No seals needed due to close clearance of piston/cylinder
  • Titanium end cap press fit onto piston - eliminates adhesive contamination problems
  • Flushing gland available
  • Ceramic material/clearance certifications provided for each set
